When preparing your artwork for print, it's important to ensure that your fonts are outlined and your images are embedded in your file. This helps to avoid any issues with missing fonts or linked images when your file is printed.

To outline fonts in Adobe Illustrator, follow these steps:

  1. Select the text that you want to outline.

  2. Go to Type > Create Outlines, or use the shortcut Command/Ctrl + Shift + O.

  3. Your text will now be converted to vector outlines.

It's important to note that once you've outlined your text, you won't be able to edit it as text anymore. So make sure you've made any necessary changes before outlining your fonts.

To embed images in Adobe Illustrator, follow these steps:

  1. Select the image that you want to embed.

  2. Go to File > Embed.

  3. Your image is now embedded in your Illustrator file.

It's important to embed images instead of linking to them because linked images can sometimes be missing or broken when your file is opened on another computer.

To check if your fonts are outlined and your images are embedded, you can use the Links panel. Go to Window > Links to open the panel. If an image is embedded, it will have an "Embedded" icon next to it. If a font is outlined, it will have a "Missing" icon next to it.

By following these steps, you can ensure that your artwork is properly prepared for print and avoid any issues with missing fonts or linked images.
